About us
ASTI Feynman Institute
AFI was set up by ASTI as an online resource and learning center for the study of STEM and innovation subjects.
For now, it has 3 main initiatives under it and they are:
- ASTI Feynman Learning (AFL) is a video based online learning platform where students can learn various scientific concepts and principles. The videos are developed by the students, teachers and the public and chosen by a team of experts.
- ASTI Progressively Learning and Understanding Science (APLUS) is a project run as workshops that focus on experimentation and activities, based on the Malaysian syllabus for years 1 to 6 and Form 1. The goal of the project is for students to learn scientific concepts and principles through activities and experimentation, rather than just memorizing facts and figures for exams. The modules can be downloaded here.
- Online resources and relevant training materials will be available. Educators are encouraged to share their resources here.
